Multi-asset trading platform Vantage Markets is set to launch a new liquidity solution for institutions and corporates in the UK at the Finance Magnates London Summit next week.
Named Vantage Connect, the new service comes as part of a broader strategic push from Vantage to expand the institutional side of its business in response to increasing demand for bespoke trading solutions from hedge funds, family offices, banks, brokers, and asset managers.
Widespread volatility has resulted in a 17.2% year-on-year increase in global trading volumes this September, according to Vantage. This has led to both risks and opportunities being presented to institutions who need to navigate continuously changing market conditions, including the London Stock Exchange widening the spread limit on UK gilts and bigger spreads, such as the CFD and derivatives contracts often used in hedging strategies.
Vantage Markets claims that its new solution allows institutional clients to manage volatility and make the most of market opportunities by leveraging the firm’s liquidity pool to buy and sell complex assets quickly.
The offering provides customisability based on specific client needs across the full range of Vantage’s services, including in-house built risk management and its percentage allocation management module (PAMM).
In addition, the solution is claimed to be quick and secure, allowing clients to easily plug into the service via an application programming interface (API), ensuring speed to market as well as protection under Vantage’s FCA license.
