Standard Life Investments has named former BNP Paribas equity and derivatives strategy head Gerry Fowler as investment director, idea generation, within its Multi Asset Investment (MAI) Team.
Fowler will be part of a team of 57 providing idea generation, investment recommendations and detailed implementation strategies for the fund manager’s range of MAI funds.
He joins after five years as global head of equity and derivatives strategy at BNP Paribas.
Previously he worked for Citi in London first as EMEA head of equity derivatives strategy and then global head of equity research strategy.
He also worked in Sydney earlier in his career at Citi as a strategies for portfolio trading and derivatives.
