Blockchain startup Digital Asset has made a series of high profile hiring’s from the post-trade and banking sector, including JP Morgan’s global head of collateral management.
Kelly Mathieson, a JP Morgan veteran of over 25 years, has joined the company as a product manager, reuniting with the Digital Asset’s founder Blythe Masters, JP Morgan’s former head of global commodities.
Mathieson was responsible for the bank’s collateral management and securities clearing business. Prior to that, she was head of global custody product.
In addition to Mathieson, the New York-based startup has hired RBS Corporate and Institutional Bank’s former chief operating officer Carol Mathis as its new chief financial officer, and LCH’s Gavin Wells as head of Europe.
