Kepler Cheuvreux has cherry-picked a former Mirabaud Securities pan-European equities trading specialist to join its execution equity trading team in London.
Robert Bishop joins Kepler from Mirabaud as a small to mid-cap Scandinavian equity trader based in London.
Bishop has an extensive backlog of experience in equity trading, having previously spent six years at JP Morgan, over 10 years at Redburn and a year at Forte Securities and Mirabaud Securities collectively.
His appointment follows a series of new additions made by Kepler in recent months as it looks to expand several of its teams.
The European agency broker appointed Arnaud Girod as head of economics and cross-asset strategy, replacing Christopher Potts, and Philippe Ferreira as his deputy, in July. In the same sweep it named Natalia Bobo and Marco Baccagilo as co-heads of institutional research.
The additions also follow the departure of head of equity trading at Kepler, Mark Foley, who reportedly left for Credit Suisse’s equity team in London in June, according to sources familiar with the matter.
