Liquidnet and FactSet combine tools for MiFID II unbundling

Liquidnet’s broker vote and commission management service has been integrated with FactSet’s research management service.

Liquidnet and FactSet have teamed up to combine their unbundling services ahead of MiFID II’s research requirements.

FactSet’s research management solutions have been integrated with Liquidnet’s broker vote and commission management system.

The partnership means firms will be able to track research they consume, the value they derive from it and conduct and review research payments.

Liquidnet and FactSet explained the combination of the services will enable users to integrate their own proprietary processes, while maintaining an audit trail and providing evidence of research provided to clients.

Sandra Delmore, head of commission management solutions at Liquidnet, commented with MiFID II just around the corner, firms are seeking ‘full service’ research management to meet unbundling requirements.

David Hannibal, global manager of channel partners at FactSet, added: “As part of being MiFID II compliant, firms need to track and review valued interactions.

“They want a seamless solution for research unbundling and this integration supports more continuity for MiFID II compliance.”
