Janus Henderson Investors appoints new junior equity trader

Incoming individual previously spent the last two years at GSA Capital.

Janus Henderson Investors has appointed Francesca Alesi as a junior equity trader, based in London.

Alesi joins the asset manager from GSA Capital, where she spent the last two years.

Most recently, Alesi served as an execution trader – a position she held for just over a year. Prior to that, she served as an analyst at the firm.

Alesi’s appointment follows the departure of Stuart Mair, who left Janus Henderson in July after 14 years.

Mair joined hedge fund and systematic trading platform Schonfeld as an equity trader dealing with long and short strategies.
