Electronic and algorithmic trading technology provider Horizon Software has released an updated version of its global execution and order management system (EOMS) for sell-side clients globally.
The system has already been adopted by Horizon Software’s client-base in Asia, with the international launch including added features for the automation of order and execution workflow to trade derivatives.
Horizon Software said users of the EOMS benefit from market connectivity to various global exchange groups for access to liquidity. It also allows integration of internal algorithms and can manage positions, portfolios, trade allocation and risk, supporting trading in more than 10 million instruments.
“This release has been enriched based on feedback from our clients and our unparalleled expertise in derivatives trading. We are happy to see clients in Europe and Hong Kong fully live on the solution,” said Vincent Dumontoy, global head of client solutions and services at Horizon Software.
“Clients use our EOMS to manage incoming client orders, create automatically listed strategies when needed, display market data and seamlessly access liquidity venues for best execution. They also benefit from a single platform to embed algorithmic strategies.”
Dumontoy added that although the EOMS is a multi-asset service, the platform is unique to the options market based on the firm’s expertise in derivatives, while its competitors focus on designing systems for equities.
The EOMS, which also supports executions as single orders and multi-leg options strategies, can be deployed by clients globally via Horizon’s managed and hosting support model.
