Weeden’s strategies include Ghost for hard-to-trade
stocks, the OnePipe dynamic dark pool aggregator, Capture, a non-posting
liquidity seeking strategy, the Bullseye intelligent direct market access
strategy, CloseIQ, POVIQ, VWAPIQ, TWAPIQ, implementation shortfall IQ, pairs
trading and a full suite of DMA order types.

Key functionality

Weeden’s customised approach is designed to meet
client’s changing clients. The firm’s IQ logic has been developed to
intelligently interact with all of the firm’s execution venues.

Support

All routing is unconflicted, transparent and fully
customisable. The firm’s trading research and algorithmic development teams
consult with clients to determine optimal execution and routing, pre-trade
analytics and post-trade performance.

Access

Weeden’s algorithms are fully integrated with all
vendor order and execution management systems, as well as the firm’s own
TradeEngine platform.

Routing

Weeden rests orders in the pools with the highest
probability of a cross. The firm has access to all trading venues and
constantly monitors venues for execution quality. Any new destination will be
thoroughly vetted for quality and performance.

Future plans

The firm is in the process of rolling out CloseIQ,
is developing a new pairs and basket algorithm and plans to upgrade its
signalling logic.
