ITG’s former managing director for FinTech has moved back into trading, joining multi-asset trading firm OANDA as its new global head of trading and quantitative analytics.
Based in New York, Neil McDonald will be responsible for driving strategic growth of OANDA’S electronic trading business and research groups.
Prior to joining ITG, McDonald was global head of electronic market-marking and head of US derivatives for JP Morgan for five years.
He has also been a director for options trading at Citadel, head of flow derivatives trading at Lehman Brothers and founded the automated market-making group at Morgan Stanley in 1999.
