Acadian Asset Management has appointed Jian Du as vice president, senior trader in its Sydney office.
Du joins the asset manager from Goldman Sachs, where he most recently served as executive director of electronic trading, also based in Sydney.
Prior to that, he held the position of executive director, Asia-Pacific quant execution coverage at Goldman Sachs, based in Hong Kong.
Before joining Goldman Sachs, Du spent nearly seven years at Dimensional Fund Advisors, where he served as a trader across both London and Sydney.
Elsewhere in his tenure at Dimensional, he served as an analyst.
