CME upgrades data and connectivity services with BSO

BSO has entered into an agreement with CME Group to offer market, hosting and colocation services to CME Group customers.

The Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) has expanded its global connectivity and data services through an agreement with BSO.

The agreement will see BSO provide market data, hosting and colocation tools to CME Group’s clients and customers.

The exchange operator’s clients will have a single point of access to BSO’s network spanning 20 countries and 91 data centres across established and emerging markets.

Michael Ourabah, CEO at BSO, explained today’s trading landscape means market makers need access to vast amounts of data.

“By offering our full portfolio of managed services from one of the worlds’ biggest exchanges, market participants now have the advantages of accessing one single source of market data to adjust to changing market conditions,” he said.

BSO is an ethernet network, cloud and hosting provider for businesses looking to upgrade their connectivity and technology infrastructure.
