Citi has named its new markets head for Switzerland and Lichtenstein following the retirement of Robert Schmoll, according to an internal memo.
Fabio Lisanti joined Citi in 2016 and he will assume the new role in addition to his current responsibilities as markets head for Italy, Greece and Cyprus.
Prior to Citi, Lisanti worked at UBS where he was head of global debt capital markets and client solutions, merging the debt capital markets (DCM), syndicate, solutions sales and structuring teams.
As markets country head, Lisanti will provide regional leadership and governance working alongside the bank’s product teams. Citi said his extensive industry experience will help it further strengthen the markets business in Switzerland.
Lisanti will report to Leo Arduini, head of European markets, and Conor Davis, head of EMEA investor sales at Citi.
