Historical Level 3 data provider BMLL has expanded its equities and ETF data offering to include Shenzhen Stock Exchange data.
Data from the exchange is now available to BMLL users across the sell- and buy-side, as well as global exchange groups.
Speaking to The TRADE, Paul Humphrey, chief executive of BMLL, explained that this move comes in response to client demand for comprehensive coverage.
“We are excited to add Shenzhen data to our global data coverage. Our clients and market participants overall are demanding increasingly comprehensive, high quality data sets to understand market behaviour and we are delighted to provide them with the insights they need to make more informed trading decisions,” said Humphrey.
This news follows the recent addition of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (HKEX) in May, now offered within the BMLL product suite, alongside Cboe Japan, Japannext and Singapore Exchange.
In June, Cboe Europe Indices were also incorporated into the offering, available via the company’s research and data visualisation tools, BMLL Data Lab, BMLL Data Feed and BMLL Vantage.
Speaking to The TRADE, BMLL highlighted that the recent surge in updates comes as part of the business’ strategic growth plans following a successful Series B funding in Q4 2022.
