Spanish exchange-operator BME has announced plans to restructure its market data and technology businesses as part of an efficiency drive.
It has created three companies that will offer all of its market data, IT and consulting products, bringing together synergies in various business lines it owns.
The companies are, BME Market Data, BME Regulatory Services and BME InnTech.
BME Market Data will provide co-location, proximity and London Hub services to its existing data offerings. BME Regulatory Services will act as a “one-top-shop” for regulatory compliance services, while BME InnTech will integrate its Infobolsa Group, Visual Trader and BME Innova companies under a single entity, providing all existing services of its component parts.
Ramón Adarrga, who previously was head of BMe Market Data and Infobolsa Group, will lead the new companies.
BME said it hopes the reorganisation will enable it to respond to the needs of market participants though improved efficiency and business synergy.
