Brokerage business MIT SIM has appointed Neil Terence O’Connor as equity trader.
MIT SIM carries out a range of brokerage activities, with a particular focus on supporting investors looking at small to medium sized enterprises.
Milan-based O’Connor joins following almost 15 years at ACCIONA Group’s Spanish asset manager, BESTINVER.
He most recently served as equity sales trader, leveraging key knowledge of the Italian, Swiss, US and UK markets.
He also previously worked for Gestnord, the brokerage arm of Banca Sella.

In mid-2019, Spanish asset manager Bestinver acquired local boutique Fidentiis – where O’Connor worked – in a deal that added around €350 million in assets under management to Bestinver’s €7 billion portfolio.
