Axis Capital Markets has appointed Lewis Jones in an institutional sales and trading role, The TRADE can reveal.
According to an update on social media, Jones joins Axis Capital Markets from IBP Markets, where he served as an equity sales trader for nearly three years.
Prior to that, Jones held a corporate broker and equity sales position at ETX Capital.
Elsewhere in his career, Jones was self-employed as an options trader at Delta Capital Management; a corporate broking consultant at Turner Pope Investments; and as a proprietary trader at Schneiders Trading Association.
Jones initially joined the industry as a junior options trader at Bramfield Investment Limited.
