HSBC trader joins JP Morgan in New York

Incoming individual joins following nearly three and a half years at HSBC.

Kyle Hackett has joined JP Morgan as a US rates trader, based in New York.

Prior to his new role, Hackett spent three and a half years at HSBC, working as a global markets analyst, and most recently as a US rates trader. 

Elsewhere in his career Hackett did a stint at Fidelity Investments.

Earlier this year, Mitul Patel left his role at HSBC, where he most recently held responsibility for primary coverage on G10 rates for reserve managers and UK real money clients.

Patel was appointed director, central bank sales at RBC Capital Markets, based in London, responsibility for distributing global rates product.
