Newport 3 is Instinet’s trading platform, a global, multi-asset execution management system. With Newport 3, users can easily switch from executing single stocks to global programs, manage globally dispersed teams, trade large order sets, access multiple broker neutral liquidity sources, customise trading strategies, leverage integrated analytics and conform their desktop to their workflow.

Connectivity

The Newport 3 EMS supports FIX 4.x for inbound and FIX 5 for inbound and exchange connectivity. In Asia, Newport 3 users can access more than 200 algorithmic strategies from 17 brokers, as well as Instinet’s Execution Experts global event-driven strategies.

Market data

Newport 3 is integrated with all major market data providers.

Routing and trading venues

Newport 3 connects to 20 exchanges and 15 alternative liquidity pools in Australia, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore Taiwan and Thailand.

Instinet smart order routing and liquidity sourcing strategies are available directly from Newport 3, as are the smart routing capabilities of dozens of other brokers.
