The former head of European trading at State Street Global Advisors has joined the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA), according to someone familiar with the matter.
Dale Brooksbank - who departed State Street in July last year - joined the authority in October 2016 as head of equities trading in ADIA’s central dealing department.
A spokesperson for ADIA confirmed the move.
He worked at State Street’s asset management arm for over 10 years and was responsible for managing the day-to-day trading and execution for the firm’s fixed income, currency and derivatives trading in Europe.
Brooksbank has also previously worked at Legal & General Investment Management in equities and derivatives trading.
ADIA is a sovereign wealth fund owned by Emirate of Abu Dhabi established for investing funds on behalf of the government.
