LCH.Clearnet names global collateral services head
Anglo-French clearer LCH.Clearnet will appoint Stephen
Patriarco as its new global head of collateral services and US head of collateral
and liquidity management (CaLM).
Patriarco joins from SJP Financial Consulting Services, a financial
consultancy he founded. Previously he spent 15 years with major investment
banks such as Lehman Brothers, Credit Suisse and Merrill Lynch, where he held senior
management positions. Latterly he was global head of derivative operations, futures,
and collateral management at Merrill Lynch.
“Stephen’s extensive industry expertise makes him an ideal
candidate to help build on our already robust collateral and liquidity
management capabilities,” Andrew Howat, group head of CaLM said. “This
appointment reflects CaLM’s strategy to continually evolve to meet our clients’
growing global demands for effective collateral management solutions and
further reinforces our commitment to the US market.”
