The Asian subsidiary of
broker-dealer BTIG has strengthened its institutional sales and sales trading
team with a number of new appointments.
The firm says the new hires
will help to bolster its presence in the Asia Pacific region.

Securities, while Robertson joins from US-based brokerage Knight Capital.
Former MF Global employees
Neil Newman and Fabiano Mascolo have joined BTIG as vice presidents in the
sales trading division, as has Gustino DeMarco, most recently at KE Absolute.
All four will be based in BTIG’s Hong Kong office.
In Singapore, the firm has
hired another former Knight Capital Asian equity head Edward Strover as an
executive director of equity sales and Andrew Millward, who was previously at
the Commonwealth Bank of Australia, as vice president of sales trading.
“We are very pleased to
announce the new additions to our team, which will help strengthen our operations
and offering to clients,” Jesse Lentchner, CEO, Asia Pacific, BTIG.
BTIG Asia Pacific now has 25 sales traders working
